gemaker was engaged by the University of Newcastle to assess the potential for, develop, and prepare a grant bid for an Industrial Transformation Training Centre (ITTC).
Working closely with the lead researchers, gemaker’s senior commercialisation specialist identified and contacted several highly relevant industry partners and validated and secured their partnership on a bid (including financial contributions), which ensured the bid’s viability.
By brokering expert feedback from industry, gemaker was able to nurture new industry-academia relationships, resulting in a comprehensive and competitive grant application for an ITTC, validated by significant industry support.
gemaker also re-wrote the National Interest Test for UoN and reviewed the grant application, providing recommendations for improvement.
