Sam Dymond

Commercialisation Specialist
BSc(Physics), GDipWritLit, MBA

With 15 years in the university sector, including over 10 years in commercialisation and business development roles at Murdoch and Curtin Universities, Sam has extensive experience undertaking commercialisation activities for university research including reviewing, identifying and capturing new intellectual property, commercialisation guidance and mentoring for university researchers, licensing and contract negotiation, and spin-off development.

Sam is a graduate of the AICD Company Directors course and in her General Manager – Knowledge Transfer role she was a company director for five spinoffs in animal health, algae biofuel, plant genetics and biotech from Murdoch University.

Sam previously fulfilled various roles with the Commonwealth Government, assisting a wide range of innovative businesses with patents, R&D Tax Concessions and grants.
