gemaker developed Cicada’s winning application for a $2.1M NSW Government grant to deliver the National Space Industry Hub, expand Australia’s space capabilities and position NSW to lead this growth sector.
The complex proposal comprised: commercialisation training; rolling-entry, residential acceleration and incubation programs; and events for networking and education, involving a pool of industry mentors. The target audience is space-tech entrepreneurs (tertiary students, researchers and inventors) and start-ups.
Based on Cicada’s draft application and discussions with the Cicada team, gemaker provided strategic advice and writing, editing and design services to deliver the winning application in a tight timeframe.
Cicada subsequently engaged gemaker to develop a tender to deliver the NSW Health Commercialisation Training Program, which was also successful.
