gemaker continues to provide strategic, proactive marketing and communications for all stakeholder groups, to take Alkane from start-up explorer to global mining company, with the aim of attracting $1.3 billion investment.
The work has included:
- media liaison, PR, advertising, exhibitions, presentations, newsletters, infographics, FAQs
- new website design, content and CMS
- development and implementation of effective social media strategy
- successful lobbying of State and Federal Ministers and advisors to change export funding eligibility
- Ministerial briefings and tours, community consultation and events including the Ministerial opening of the Tomingley Gold Mine
- successful stakeholder relations management throughout the review of the Environmental Impact Statement for the Dubbo Project
- submissions that won Alkane two NSW Mining Health, Safety, Environment & Community Awards (2015), and two NSW Minerals Council Awards – for Mining Operation of the Year (2018) and Explorer of the Year (2021 & 2023).
